On Tour with Brian Voss

H&R Block Classic - Medford, OR (Jan. 3 - 7, 2007 )

Back to the city of Reno. The stadium is a great venue for bowling. Anyone that has never been there should at some time in their life go see it. I showed up in Reno not knowing if I was bowling or not. My lower back was giving me problems, so I didn't pick up a ball during the break, which included the last stop before Christmas. Can't get better without practicing, can't practice without being healthy. I wasn't sharp, but was just happy to make it through the two rounds without serious pain. I was close after the first round, but couldn't muster anything up the second round. I used a combination of Blue Aliens and Green Aliens. The lanes played out early, then got a little easier by moving in and hooking it. The topography in the stadium typically favors the left side, and once again, the characteristics showed up, as the winner was left handed. Not to take anything away from anyone who wins, it's just that the stadium needs to improved on it's topography issue for it to be a real showcase of bowling. Nonetheless, it's off to Medford next week. Wish me luck.
