On
Tour with Brian Voss
Go RVing Classic - Council Bluffs,
IA (Feb. 14 - 18, 2007 )
Well folks, we are down to 4. Four weeks to make up for my worst season
ever. I worked so hard during the time off between tournaments, just
feel I'm on the edge of breaking loose. But, the season is nearing
the end, with our biggest events right around the corner. There's
no time for excuses, just have to get it done.
I've had weeks where I can admittingly say that I just plain stunk.
But, this wasn't one of those weeks. The carry was brutal, 4-9's,
ringing ten pins, everything. Just couldn't get any strings going.
I was doing alright until we made the turn to the low end, then all
of a sudden, 2-8-10's, about 4 of them. Not the kind when you send
it way right, but the kind that should leave a bucket. It was soooooo
frustrating. I was using a Cheetah out of the gate, the backends were
snapping pretty good. Hard and straight worked well for the first
few games. I was playing the first arrow both blocks doing this, and
got to the pocket pretty easy. Then, as always, had to move left.
The shot never got left of the 4th arrow, which was good, and I was
using some Blue Aliens with a little shine to 'em.
And, I must mention this again. Top 4 left handed. Enough said.............except
when are they going get it? Rumor has it they fired the laneman. This
day and age, with all of the knowledge, all of the research, there
is no excuse for what has taken place since the break. These are supposed
to be the best in the world, no excuse.
Wish me luck, I am trying my best, and the pressure is really mounting,
in a lot of things.
