Elite Congratulates Curtis Woods!
Smooth stroking right hander shoots 4 300s in PBA competition
in 8 weeks Racks up second title in the same timeframe at Harley's
Camarillo Bowl June 3-4
Curtis Woods, newly crowned father of Ashtyn Woods, has not let the
new responsibilities of fatherhood keep him from torching the lanes.
Not only is Curtis a new father, he is a new Elite Father. After spending
years with Columbia bowling, Curtis made the move to Elite Bowling
International a few short months ago and the results have been nothing
short of phenomenal. If he keeps bowling this well, his beautiful
wife Jill will gladly let 'Wonder Boy Woods' out a little more often!
In his first 7 PBA tournaments with Elite, Curtis has shot 4 300's!
We checked the record books, and could not find anyone who shot more
300's in such a short period of time under the newer, tougher PBA
conditions. Ironically, Elite Bowling prides itself in delivering
a true arsenal of choice rather than a bevy of new bombs designed
to hook more than the previous model. Curtis has taken advantage of
Elite's advanced technology and proven it to be effective since each
one of his 300 games was used with a different ball! That's right
folks, 4 300's, 4 different balls, 4 different conditions.
Woods is not just a one game wonder, look at the timing of his powerful
perfectos. One 300 game came in the last game of qualifying at the
renovated Reno Bowling Stadium during the year end major to propel
Woods to one of the top seeded finalists!
In a span of eight tournaments Woods has recorded:
1st-Fresno
1st-Camarillo
2nd-Sacramento
2nd-Visalia
300-Visalia (R43)
300-Fresno (Alien)
300-Olympia, WA (Scorpion)
300-Reno, NV (R47)
One more win and another Woods named Tiger might be calling to see
if another dominant figure may have arisen out of the ashes, or should
I say Ashtyn. Woods could not be happier with his new baby and his
new ball company.
Is it just a coincidence that Curtis has found so much success in
such a short period of time since coming to Elite? We think not. Elite
takes its time in developing a consistent line of equipment designed
for the changing and transitioning lane conditions for league, tournament
and PBA players.
