You keep waiting for Curtis Woods to slow down a bit...well, we’re
still waiting. He keeps lighting up the PBA West Region with victories,
most recently conquering the Earl Anthony Memorial PBA Western Region
Open. The tournament conditions were about as tough as they come on
Saturday. It only took a 195 average to make the cut. But Curtis was
apparently bowling on a different condition, averaging 224 with help
of his Alien, R43 and R47. On Sunday, all he needed was his Alien
and an opponent and the rest was history. This is his 4th PBA regional
victory since joining Elite last October and it’s turning out to be
a perfect match. Oh by the way…Curtis is leading the exemption in
the West Region by 30,000 points…bowling barely half the events. It
sounds like Elite Bowling has a Tiger on it’s hands.
