On
Tour with Robert Smith
Merrillville, Indiana (Nov.
19, 2007 )
Hello everyone. Week number 4 is at Stardust Bowl II in Merrillville,
Indiana. The lanes this week were wood, which usually tends to do
one thing for me, a lot of hook. And this week was no exception.
I started out the first block throwing a R43 and Viper. Both were
to keep my ball reaction smooth. Both had the same drill patterns,
5x4 from PAP. I bowled decent, but as the same as the weeks before,
started slow and finished strong to get back into contention. The
shot was around 5 board, but up the boards. Too many bad shots hurt
me.
The second block was stark reminder that I am rusty still and need
to get more games in. I played the lanes the same and felt better,
but missing 4 single pin spares in 7 games was, and is completely
unacceptable. 48 pins I throw away and miss the cut by 15. Not much
else to say about that except I was very disappointed.
All in all, I was very disappointed with my bowling and hopefully
next week in Vernon Hills, Illinois, I will get this problem remedied.
Take care and talk to you from Chicagoland.
